In his lifetime, Dr. Walter Russell was a world renown illustrator, painter, sculptor, accomplished musician, scientist, philosopher, author, and architectural designer.
But there’s more to Russell’s story than just his outstanding artistic accomplishments, some of which were first created after the age of 50.
He believed that every person had within them inherent genius. His art is the manifestation of that deeper divine inspiration.
Walter and his wife, Lao, spent their lives teaching others how to connect with their own inner genius. Lao Russell's life was parallel to Walter's. She demonstrated her intuitive philosophy of cosmic harmony through her own paintings, sculptures, books, and lectures.
Her crowning achievement was the establishment of the Walter Russell Foundation which became the University of Science and Philosophy.
Visitors to the The Russell Museum, headquarters for the University of Science and Philosophy, are inspired and captivated by the life and legacy of Lao and Walter Russell.
